Why this page exists.
The garden here sits in a small dip, and it is reliably a couple of degrees colder than the nearest official station. Writing the numbers down started as a way to settle an argument about frost dates and never quite stopped.
The page is deliberately plain: static files, no database, no comment form. If a row looks wrong it probably is — the gauge overflows in a heavy week and the reading is then a lower bound.
